The City Heights Recreation Center has something for the entire family. You can find the recreation center at 4380 Landis Street in San Diego. To contact them by phone call 619-641-6125. The center is open Monday through Friday from noon to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The recreation center is closed on Sundays.
City Heights Recreation Center has everything you need to spend the day or just an afternoon. You can bring your children to the tot lot or playground to play. You can also utilize the game room and craft/ceramic room. Bring some food over to the picnic area for some quality time with your family. If you are looking for a place to play some sport they have a multi-purpose field, tennis courts, and gym. You can hold special gatherings in the available meeting room and use the mini kitchen to make some snacks or get refreshments together. This recreation center also has a swimming pool which is open for everyone. You will have to call the center to find out the times that pool is open for free swim.
The center provides some services for teenagers in the Teen Center. Teenagers can come to the center to receive help with homework, work on schoolwork on available computers, work on arts and crafts. Teens can also use the available video and table games or take part in many of the sports activities.
To take part in some of the decision of the recreation center you can join the City Heights Recreation Council every third Tuesday at 6:30 PM. The council meeting is usually help in the meeting room that is available for use by members of the center.
