Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego was established on October 14, 1913 memorializing the accomplishments of Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo. Bring your cameras as you will get a spectacular view of the skyline and harbor of San Diego. In addition, Old Point Loma sits at the highest point of the park, which has been an icon in San Diego since 1854. A museum in the visitors center honors the Cabrillo and his exploration of the coast of California.
