SeaWorlds Christmas Celebration at SeaWorld San Diego

Step into a winter wonderland of holiday cheer, stunning shows, and exciting rides at SeaWorld's Christmas Celebration in San Diego.

Winter may make the California weather a little chillier, but SeaWorld visitors can look forward to a warm welcome at the great family-friendly theme park during this annual event. Many different exciting experiences await visitors at the park, such as The Polar Express 4-D Experience, Shamu's Christmas, and more.

The park's wintery, watery wonderland features shows where the animals take charge. Christmas Tails, a tail-wagging show where the pets take the stage, gives you an exciting adventure of entertainment and celebration every time. Shamu's Christmas splashes a wave of holiday spirit over everyone in the stands, bringing the season to live beneath the stars.

Don't miss out on The Polar Express 4-D Experience show, either. The traditional story is transformed into an interactive experience that makes viewers feel as if they are physically going through the adventure with characters.

Colorful, Christmas attractions feature some of SeaWorld San Diego's most famous holiday experiences, including Santa's Cottage, where children of all ages can climb onto Santa's lap and tell him exactly what they want this year. SeaWorld's Christmas Tree of Lights will also be present, an extraordinary three hundred and twenty-foot holiday tree of lights and spectacle, with an ice skating rink nearby.

All of your favorite SeaWorld attractions will also be open during this time. Get a  North Pole sensation at Wild Arctic, a wonderland of ice and animals, including beluga whales, polar bears, and colossal walruses. You can even crawl through a polar bear's den! Or at the Penguin Encounter, watch almost three hundred penguins play, dive, and swim in a realistic display of their natural habitat. If you want some thrills for your Christmas season, hop on one of the park's exciting roller coasters. On Riptide Rescue, you will experience what it would be like to go on an actual sea turtle rescue mission in yellow rafts that bump and spin through the air and on the Wild Arctic Ride, you will hop on a jet-helicopter ride where you will fly through the beautiful but dangerous icy landscapes of the Arctic Circle.
