Halloween Spooktacular at SeaWorld San Diego

Get ready to get your spook and splash on at SeaWorld San Diego's Halloween Spooktacular, where you will find enchanting shows, thrilling adventures, and exciting rides.

Find the best way to celebrate this Halloween season when you visit SeaWorld's special events happening through September and during the October weekends. Witness the amazing shows performed by some of your favorite SeaWorld characters. Go on some spooky adventures with your kids, dressed in your best costumes. And scream on all the rides the park has to offer. Special events put on by SeaWorld this Halloween include the Pirates 4-D movie experience and The Search for Captain Lucky's Treasure adventure.

SeaWorld transforms into a Halloween Fantasea throughout the month of October. Visitors will have the opportunity to bake creature-like cookies, dress in their spooky costumes, and learn about some of the foreboding sea creatures living deep in the ocean waters. The kids will love trick-or-treating with all the loveable SeaWorld characters and taking pictures in their costumes with their favorite Sesame Street friends.

At Sesame Street Presents: Lights, Camera, Imagination, you and your kids will find a 4-D experience put on by Elmo, Big Bird, The Count, and all their friends. The multi-sensory experience will allow you to feel real raindrops falling on your skin and you'll think your favorite Sesame Street character is jumping off the stage. Sea lions Clyde and Seamore, SeaWorld's resident comedy team, put on live-action shows and musical spoofs at Sea Lions LIVE.

The whole family will love going on adventures throughout the SeaWorld park. Besides pirate treasure hunts, watch killer whales close up as they swim beneath the surface at Shamu: Close Up, journey through an underwater tunnel and watch prehistoric predators interact at Shark Encounter; and explore the frozen tundra inhabited by beluga whales and polar bears at Wild Arctic.

Don't miss out on the exciting rides, either. Rise above the park and view the beautiful scenery of Mission Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and the San Diego skyline on SkyTower. Float above Mission Bay on the Bayside Skyride, or, if you're looking for more action, hop on the Manta and glide, speed, soar and spin in the air like the beautiful rays do in the water. The kids will love Elmo's Flying Fish and Abby's Sea Star Spin, two great Sesame Street-themed rides that take you up and down an imaginary ocean and spin you around in a teacup.
