San Diego Hotels

San Diego is known as America's Finest City and features some of the most exciting features not only in the state, but all across the country. It is known as a tourist destination worldwide and has beaches that have been described as tropical paradises. Deciding on what to do in San Diego may among the most difficult tasks of your vacation, second only to deciding what San Diego hotels are worth staying at. Of course, most San Diego hotels are worth the money, as they provide modern amenities, spacious rooms and convenient locations. After all, your San Diego vacation is meant to be enjoyed on the outside. Indoors, the most important aspect is resting up for the daily activities. What are some of the more noteworthy hotels in the area?

One of the most popular hotels in the city is the Comfort Inn Downtown/Convention Center. This hotel lets guests eat a free continental breakfast and treats them to valet laundry service. Other amenities include an oversized hot tub, free parking and special equipment for the disabled. The Comfort Inn Downtown/Convention Center is also conveniently located near large San Diego attractions like PETCO Park, the Gas Lamp Quarter, SeaWorld and The San Diego Zoo.

The Holiday Inn SeaWorld/Mission Bay Hotel is located nearby SeaWorld, one of San Diego's most populated attractions, as well as other locations like Old Town, Mission Bay, and several of the city's top beaches. The hotel offers two room suites with a spacious living room and all the amenities you expect. There are also mini-suites for kids that are located right next to a parent's bedroom. An excellent idea if you are taking a group of children to a San Diego vacation! If that doesn't charm the kids then perhaps the hotels policy of all children eat and stay free will sweeten the deal. For grownups, the hotel offers spacious meeting rooms, fax and copy services as well as a heated outdoor pool and spa. You can
fill up on Bakers Square and Pie Shop goodies or have a few drinks at the on-site sports bar.

What are some other hotels in the San Diego area? You can stay at the Comfort Inn Gas Lamp Hotel, which is nearby the Seaport Village and Horton Plaza, or try out the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, which is a gardenlike coastal retreat and a delight for the senses. The 500 West Hotel is regarded as one of the city's most beloved historical landmarks while the Handlery Hotel & Resort offers generous accommodations plus state-of-the-art health and fitness facilities. If you're on a San Diego getaway to talk business and then play golf then the Double Tree Golf Resort San Diego offers golf-themed lodging, as does the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The Four Points by Sheraton offers golf and weddings and the Best Western Hacienda Hotel Old Town offers an authentic California Mission atmosphere in a historic setting.

Come to San Diego for the attractions and stay an extra night because of the luxurious accommodations!
