Don't kid yourself—there are plenty of reasons to go visit San Diego, America's Finest City, but no San Diego vacation qualifies as authentic until you take the best San Diego beach tours. San Diego's cultural beach sides are characteristic of the city's spirit and an important part of the city's economy. The Port of San Diego manages maritime operations while the beaches of San Diego are a hotbed for surf and skateboard culture. San Diego beaches are also located close by the Mexican border, specifically: Rosarito Beach, the Baja Mexico
Coast and Tijuana. San Diego Beach tours allow you to enjoy the beaches of San Diego as well as a tour dedicated to Mexican rivalries over these spectacular beaches.

Start with the Baja Mexico Coastal Tour: this tour offers a view of Mexico as you travel through several locations of Mexico's territory, including Tijuana, Rosarito Beach, Puerto Nuevo and Ensenada. There are also some mainstream attractions that will appeal to moviegoers, such as the famous Rosarito Beach Hotel, which has been the filming location of well-known movies like "Titanic" and "Pirates of the Caribbean." When you arrive in Ensenada you get to take a closer look at real Mexican culture through cuisine and shopping. You even get a complimentary Margarita, provided you are at least 18 years old. (Yes, you read that right) The ticket purchases a round-trip ride to Ensenada and lasts nine and a half hours, giving you a full day of sightseeing activity.

The Rosarito Beach Tour offers more Mexican culture in the way of sightseeing, shopping and dining. You start by touring Tijuana and then coast over to Rosarito Beach, where you can take part in shopping, eat some fine Mexican cuisine and soak up the beaches. Be sure to visit the Rosarito Beach Hotel and Spa as well as the Arts and Crafts Market for some unique souvenirs. A purchase of this ticket gets you round-trip transportation to Rosarito Beach and lasts about nine and a half hours.

The Tijuana Tour offers a shorter but much more colorful tour of the Mexico experience. When purchasing the Tijuana Tour you can choose either the morning tour or the afternoon tour, each with its own distinctive view. The morning tour takes you sightseeing to the Avenue of Heroes, the Tijuana Cultural Center and the Jai Alai Palace. The tour also offers shopping at local areas that have been approved by the Tijuana Merchant's Association (for the protection of tourists). The morning tour lasts 4.5 hours, which is about half a day's activity that you can combine with another San Diego activity. The afternoon tour is even shorter and is primarily for tourists who want to browse the shopping areas of Tijuana. You also get to see Avenida Revolucion, another shopping center featuring very unique handcrafted gifts and collectibles.

Since you are traveling to and from Mexico, meaning you are temporarily leaving the United States, for all three of these tours you must bring along photo identification and proof of citizenship. A birth certificate and photo ID will suffice, though non-US or Canadian residents will need a passport for re-entry. United States currency is accepted at many locations throughout the shopping areas, though not all. San Diego Beach Tours is the perfect international adventure for your family while staying among the beautiful beaches of San Diego.
