San Antonio's Riverwalk

Day 2 Dec 31--Check out the IMAX film "The Price of Freedom" which will help you remember the Alamo as it chronicles the battle of the Alamo. Then visit the Alamo site itself and a historic mission. Your next stop will be atop the Tower Of Americas, which will give you a panoramic view from 750 feet above the city's street level. Finally, return to your hotel to ring in the New Year with food and champagne. 

Day 3 Jan 1 --Wake up and explore the Riverwalk or sleep in and enjoy the comfort of your room on New Year's Day. Later you can relax on a narrated boat tour that takes you by the Riverwalk's many shops, restaurants, amphitheaters, and other attractions. Beautiful all year, the Riverwalk will be especially attractive during the holiday's with all the lights and decorations.

Day 4 Jan 2-- Make an excursion into the historic Hill Country, where you can see Lyndon Johnson's ranch and his first school house as tour the German Hill country town of Fredericksburg, Texas. Enjoy your farewell dinner as you prepare for your final night's lodging in San Antonio.

Day 5 Jan 3--Your flight departs today. You can savor the memories from the comfort of your hotel room or partake in a last minute shopping spree in the huge River Center Shopping Complex.
