The Buckhorn Saloon and Museum offers unique activities and exhibits chronicling over 120 years of history.
Voted as the Best Overall Attraction in 2002, the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum offers unique activities and exhibits chronicling over 120 years of history. The museum is home to the world's only Wax Museum of Texas History and features a horn collection, cowboy memorabilia and fish from the Seven Seas. Guests can see a two headed calf and a lamb with eight legs in the museum, as well as test their hands at the authentic shooting gallery and arcade.
The Saloon section of the museum still has many of its original furnishings from over a century ago and is still serving cold beer and warm homecooked meals today. Visitors to the Buckhorn Saloon and Museum can also pick up an array of authentic Texas collectibles and Buckhorn souvenirs at the Buckhorn Curio Store, known to locals as "The Oddest Store in the World."
