Upon arriving, we were excited to find out that the hotel was a renovated historic building! It was the originalBexar County Jail, built in 1870 and used as such until 1965. It was first renovated to be a hotel in 2002-04. The location was excellent - within walking distance from all of the major San Antonio attractions, such as the Riverwalk, the Alamo, the Majestic Theater, El Mercado, and La Villita. The rooms were comfortable, and the service exellent. Thank you for our wonderful stay!
