Enjoy a variety of exotic cultures with food, dance, music and more at the Texas Folklife Fesitval in San Antonio.
Every year, 40 different cultures from across Texas gather in San Antonio for a four-day extravaganza. Visitors are encouraged to participate in the festivities, like singing, dancing, and conversing with people involved in the celebration. There will also be celebrity performances, crafts, cooking demonstrations, storytelling, pioneering skills and demonstrations, special exhibits, and carnival rides along with countless other fun and educational programs.
The party will be held at UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures in downtown San Antonio's HemisFair Park. The festival kicks off June 8th at 5 p.m. and runs until 11 p.m., on Friday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday from noon to 11 p.m., and Sunday noon- 9 p.m. This festival is not free, so be sure to call ahead to get your tickets, you won't want to miss this.
