Summer Nights At SeaWorld San Antonio

Spend your summer at SeaWorld San Antonio's exciting rides, shows, and exhibits during their annual Summer Nights.

SeaWorld presents new shows specifically for the summer, such as Shamu Rocks Texas, Sea Lions Tonite, Cool Vibrations, and Pirates Plunder. Shamu Rocks stars everyone's favorite killer whale in an exciting performance of rock and roll music, special effects, spectacular light displays, and big splashes. Shamu swims, jumps, and dives into the water in a choreographed routine to electrifying music. Sea Lions Tonite stars comedy duo Clyde and Seamore as they offer an unique perspective on politics, pop culture, and SeaWorld's attractions. The whole family will love the hilarious show, or Cool Vibrations is a thrilling performance by daredevil water skiers, incredible singers, and talented dancers.  This show leaves no room for error as dangerous stunts are precisely executed by these professional skiers. Pirates Plunder is another exciting stunt show, this time replacing water skiers with up-to-no-good pirates. Sword fights join together with beautiful scenery, astounding costumes, and excellent effects in a musical performance everyone will enjoy.

Be sure to check out the park's exhibits as well. At Alligator Alley, you can go eye to eye with some of nature's deadliest predators, or marvel at Mother Nature's sense of humor as you watch the pink, curved-neck birds in Flamingo Cove. Watch the seals, sea lions, and otters play at Rocky Point Preserve, where you can also get the opportunity to feed some of these fun-loving creatures. Learn more about what you can do to help aquatic animals at Animal Connections Conservation Center, where you will hear heartwarming stories about some of SeaWorld's rescued animals.

Then, head over to the park's exciting roller coasters. Since the park has extended hours during Summer Nights, you can rise up fifteen stories into the starry sky on Steel Eel, before plummeting towards the ground. Or, on Rio Loco, a river that lives up to its name, cool down from the summer heat on a raft as it bobs and bounces through the stream of water in a series of twists, turns, and drop-offs.

Summer Nights sometime end with a fantastic fireworks display. Watch the sky erupt into vivid colors while riding on the Great White ride, or while enjoying a late-night meal at the Seafire Grille.
