Houston Street Fair & Market in San Antonio, Tx

Each month, San Antonio holds an event called the Houston Street Fair & Market that is free and open to the public.

The kids will love the activity area set up just for them. They can get their face painted, listen to storytellers, or play on the fair rides. Adults can shop for handmade arts and crafts that are made locally by San Antonio citizens. Beverages and food like turkey legs, gorditas, fajita tacos, shish kabobs, and roasted corn, will be available for purchase.

Be sure to bring a blanket, so you can be comfortable while enjoying live music in the evening. Also, animal lovers will love the "Pets in the Park" area, where there will be many pets up for adoption. There is plenty of free parking available near the downtown area, especially at the St. Mary's Street parking garage. Admission is free, so bring the whole gang for a day of fun in downtown San Antonio.
