Fiesta San Antonio is an annual 10-day citywide spectacular celebration that draws over 3 million participants and spectators from around the world and features over 100 different events.
Originating in 1891 to honor fallen Texas heroes, the Fiesta San Antonio has grown expansively and includes multiple carnivals, sports, entertainment opportunities, ethnic foods, art exhibits, firework displays and parades. Special events going on during Fiesta San Antonio include the River Parade, Battle of the Flowers Parade, Fiesta Flambeau and a Masked Ball--just to name a few out of many. Those visiting the area in April should be sure to see this largest yearly fiesta in San Antonio!
