A Festival of Films in San Antonio, Tx

A Festival of Films is put together each year by a group of independent film producers to showcase their masterpieces.

It all begins with the Public Kick Off Party, on the 13th, at the Cadillac Bar. Each year there is a "surprise celebrity" on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with fans. On the 14th, Santikos Northwest 14 Theatre will host Independent Movies and workshops for filmmakers. The films showcased here come from all over the world, and it's open to any indpendent filmmaker who would like to submit their film. There will be documentaries, animation, horror flicks, narratives, and many more.

This year's "surprise celebrity" will be Demetrius Navarro from the Emmy Award winning T.V. show "ER," where Demetrius plays Dr. Morales. Admission is not free to see the films, but tickets are inexpensive, and are available at the theatre's box office. Some of the films may not be suitable for all ages.
