This little art community was originally a settlement of primitive huts for Spanish soldiers, after a series of changes, it is now one of the most beloved shopping districts in San Antonio. While in La Villita, be sure to visit The Little Church. It was constructed in 1879, and several different denominations have held services here. It is now an active non-denominational church and is just absolutely gorgeous. Tall trees and an iron fence only add to the already dramatic sight.
