Each October, make plans to attend the International Accordion Festival on San Antonio's beautiful River Walk. This exciting festival celebrates all that the accordion has to offer by bringing you a range of musical genres on two stages. Previous years have brought such famed accordion masters as CJ Chenier, Ruben Vela, and Forro in the Dark. You will also enjoy workshops and plenty of other festival events at the International Accordion Festival.

In early December every year, the McNay Art Museum hosts a Holiday Champagne Brunch that celebrates the city's Mexican heritage through a variety of musical performances and fabulous cuisine. This family-friendly event features an array of Mexican culinary dishes as well as some select American options as well. On stage, you will be entertained by cultural Mexican performers who will wow you with their beautiful songs and dancing. Artwork and educational exhibits will also be on display to add to the cultural ambiance.

On New Years' Eve each year, downtown San Antonio rings in the New Year in a big way with Celebrate San Antonio. This large musical festival features six stages with live performances from a variety of genres. You can find everything from country music to alternative music here, and everything in between, making it a fun event for everyone. Celebrate San Antonio also features dozens of food vendors, carnival games, and a grand fireworks display at midnight to welcome the New Year with a big bang.
