Tigers at Wild Animal Orphanage
The Wild Animal Orphanage is non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe, permanent home to animals who have been neglected, abused, abandoned, or used previously in medical research. This 10 acre facility located on Leslie Road in San Antonio is open for guided, educational tours. When you tour the Wild Animal Orphanage you will learn how this non-profit organization cares for and values the ethical treatment of these animals. Some of the animals the Wild Animal Orphanage cares for are five species of Macaques, Patas Monkeys, Capuchins, Lemurs, three species of Baboons, Chimpanzees, domestic cats, lions, Siberian tigers, African tigers, turtles, Grizzly Bears, and so many more. During the tour, you will be led by a fully trained and knowledge staff member who will provide you with stories about the history of the various animals on-site, as well as information on how you can make a difference in the lives of these animals. Your family will have a wonderful and educational experience when you tour the Wild Animal Orphanage on your trip to San Antonio.
