There are several lakes in Utah called Dog Lake, but this particular Dog Lake is place for you and your four-legged friend to frolic! There are many trailheads along this trail in Cottonwood Canyon and MillCreek Canyon, but the MillCreek side is the one set aside for Fido and Spot.
This spot is heavily frequented for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, but you can swim in the lake with your dog, have plenty of room to throw sticks for him to chase, and even get to meet other dogs. If you like to travel with your pet, this is an attraction made especially with him or her in mind.
