Fall Harvest Festival at the American West Heritage Center near Salt Lake City, UT is an award winning festival and takes pride in its long years of existence since 1917. It is located on a sprawling 160 acres of American West in Wellsville, near Logan. Its guests range from mountain men, military, Indians, craftspeople and food vendors. Visitors have a lot of touring around the grounds where you could see lace making, butter churning, broom making and also a military encampment. The most famous of it all is the 100-year old Gating Gun and Canon demonstrations throughout the day. Other highlights include wood carving, blacksmith work, antiques vendors, panning for gold etc. Free wagon rides are arranged to help you see the sights. You will be enthralled with the evening concerts and folk music by Los Reyes de Albuquerque, a Spanish Mariachi group. Tickets to this hangout are available at the gate for individuals and with special discounts for families as well. Parking is free for you.
