For fun on a hot summer day, Raging Waters is a premier water park with a water roller coaster and water slide adventures. You can also visit the Lagoon Amusement Park, another water park favorite with wet and wild rapids.
For a more relaxing experience, the International Peace Gardens are beautiful stroll gardens designed to celebrate world cultures and peace and are the perfect spot to spend a nice afternoon. Spending a day at the zoo is always a highlight, and Salt Lake City's Hogel Zoo is one of the best with 250 species, 21 of which are listed on the AZA Species Survival Plan.
The Boondocks Fun Center has plenty to offer for the entire family with miniature golf, laser tag, batting cages, rock climbing and more. The American West Heritage Center is an adventure in time taking you back to the old west with a cowboys, common folk and pioneer. They even offer food festival days called "taste of the past".
