A Snowbird Ski Lift Ticket offers access to 2,500 skiable acres at 11,000 ft. in Little Cottonwood Canyon outside Salt Lake City. Covered annually by a minimum of 500' of the best and fluffiest snow and world-famous, ultra-dry powder in North America, the area is second only to Canada's Blackcomb Mountain. Snowbird is part of Utah's 'big four' along with Alta, Brighton and Solitude mountains. Snowbird's vertical drop of 3,240' has helped earned this thrilling mountain region the title of 'Skier's Paradise.' There are 89 runs at Snowbird, with the longest, Chip's Run, measuring 2.5 miles. The longest descent, 3.5 miles, is at Gad Valley. The mountain is serviced by an aerial tram, four high-speed quad lifts, six double lifts, and two conveyor lifts with a total uphill capacity of 17,400 skiers and snow-boarders per hour. Sixty-five percent of the runs are dedicated to beginner and intermediate skiers.
