Castlegar Regional Airport in Castlegar, BC

The Castlegar Regional Airport is a small regional airport only 22 miles away from Rossland, British Columbia.  This airport is owned and operated by the city of Castlegar and has services going to Vancouver, BC and Calgary, AB daily through Air Canada Jazz. The airport occupies a total 85 hectares (210 acres) with one 1,615 meter (5,300 foot) runway and 1,423 square meter (15,317 square foot) passenger terminal. Castlegar Airport has a flight service station, but its operation hours are limited. The airport has onsite amenities such as car rental services and the Pie in the Sky Restaurant. Because of its location in the mountains, the airport currently only operates during the day, but nighttime departure procedures are underway.
