Canada Day in Rossland, BC

Every year, Canada receives a "day off" on Canada Day, typically spending the day outdoors, and certain events have been featured in Rossland, British Columbia for Canada Day in addition to traditional celebratory activities.

In the past, the Rossland Chamber of Commerce has hosted Celebrate Canada Day in Rossland City Park & Mt Roberts Rossland on Canada Day.

Traditionally, the event has consisted of morning activities including a three to five-hour hike to the top of Mount Roberts, followed by a picnic.

There have also been games for kids, live music from a local band, and a Canada cake at Pioneer Park during this event. And it wouldn't be complete without the final activity of the evening, a fireworks display.
