BC Snowboard Cross at Red Mountain Resort in Rossland, BC

Put on by the BC Snowboard Association, the BC Snowboard Cross offers snowboarders a chance to compete in an amatuer setting and even earn FIS points for those that compete throughout the season. Offering both male and female groups divided by age (14 & under, 15 - 18, 19 & over), there is a spot for nearly everyone to try their hand in the competition while visiting the area.

To register, you'll want to look into gaining an FIS license if you don't currently have one, and will need to remember that some of the rules of the event include that helmets are mandatory, competitors must be members of the BCSA with an FIS license, must have medical insurance, and those under 19 must have a parent or guardian sign the legal waiver.
