The Bahia Principe Akumal is one of two hotels comprising the Gran Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort. Thanks to its situation, its project and its facilities and services, the Hotel Bahía Principe Akumal is known in the Riviera Maya as an excellent hotel of five stars. The resort follows patterns of sustained tourism. The Bahia Principe Akumal has 72 double rooms, all with equipment of the five star category held by the hotel. These rooms have two single beds or a king-size, air conditioning, fan on the ceiling, full bathroom with hair dryer, satellite TV, direct telephone, safe, mini-bar and balcony or terrace. The rooms are in three-storey villas with 18 rooms each, very close to the beach, and most have a view of the sea.
