Pajama Jam
Virginia is a great place to spend a vacation as it has all of the historical appeal and natural beauty that many seek when staying on the east coast of the United States. Richmond in particular is very popular especially with vacationing families. Featuring historical landmarks and architecture, sprawling parks, museums, and wonderful events, this Virginian city is ideal.
One of the most popular events held in the Richmond area is the Pajama Jam. As peculiar as the name sounds, the Pajama Jam benefits a noble cause, fighting breast cancer. Breast cancer is one of the top killers of women. The Pajama Jam is a fundraiser dedicated to breast cancer research so that better treatments and possibly a cure can one day be found.
The Pajama Jam is going to enjoy its next event on October 3rd at the Hotel Roanoke. Led by radio personality, Robynn Jaymes the Pajama Jam is going into its 5th year. With nothing but success and great memories, this years Jam promises to be even better then years past. With live music, dancing, auctions, and many more activities, the Pajama Jam is expected to draw a large crowd not only from the Richmond and Roanoke area, but from all over the country.
Robynn Jaymes is the morning DJ and Music Director at 94.9 FM Star Country and is loved by her listeners for her on air personality and off air activism. She plays a central role in varying events throughout the Richmond area such as Relay For Life. The Pajama Jam is a wonderful event that brings the subject of breast cancer to light while providing a good time.
For visitors in Richmond who find themselves in the area during a Pajama Jam should put on their slippers and head on down.
