First starting in 1934, the National Folk Festival provides a full weekend of cultural diversity through a number of activities and events.
The main draw of the festival will undoubtedly be the music, but there will also be crafts, dance performances, storytelling and workshops to keep the time varied. Whether you have a wide taste in musical styles or are merely wanting to take in a little bit of entertainment from other cultures, the National Folk Festival is sure to offer everyone on hand a great time.
National Folk Festival, has moved to Butte, Montana for 2008 to 2010.
