With over nine hundred performances a year, the Portland Center for the Performing Arts is the area's most active arts establishment. Their huge three-building complex houses two theatres, three concert halls, an auditorium, and a resident theatre company and presents every type of performance imaginable. In addition to various arts education programs, the Center hosts a major international animation festival which features premieres, screenings, exhibitions, and workshops.
