Originally built in 1926 by the exclusive Multnomah Athletic Club, which still has it's headquarters next door, the PGE Park is now an active outdoor stadium in the heart of Portland.
Originally built in 1926 by the exclusive Multnomah Athletic Club, which still has it's headquarters next door, the PGE Park is now an active outdoor stadium in the heart of Portland. Home to several area sports teams including the Portland Beavers baseball team and the Portland Timbers professional soccer team, the Park also hosts the men's football and women's soccer teams from Portland State University. Seating more than 20,000 people, the Park offers a full schedule of baseball, soccer, and football games as well as concerts and other events.
Several restaurants and special areas provide unique locales for groups to gather and watch a game or hold special events. The Widmer Brothers Pub is located at field level by first base, while the Family Deck and Group Party Deck both provide picnic tables and a view of the entire field. Visitors who'd like to go behind the scenes can take a guided tour of the Park and learn about its long and active history.
