The International Museum of Carousel Art now houses an operational Wurlitzer band organ, hundreds of carved animals, chariots, and artifacts and more than a dozen complete carousels, several of which have been restored to working order and placed in various locations around the country.
The Museum presents many exhibits, including European animals, armored horses, and the major American carvers, as well as an informational exhibit on the restoration process. Museum tours offer visitors a rare opportunity to take a stroll down memory lane and learn about the rich history of this nostalgic art.
