Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Pittsburgh, PA

Located on Fifth Street in the center of the Oakland area, the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Pittsburgh, PA is a touching and awesome tribute to veterans who have served in war. If you were a fan of the movie of "Silence of the Lambs," you may recognize some of the memorial as parts of the movie was filmed there.

The original intention of the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall was to honor the veterans of the local Allegheny Country who served their area in the Civil War. However, in light of the recent war events in the Middle East these past few years, the Hall was rededicated to honoring all veterans of the area who have served their country, no matter what the conflict.
