Destiny Studios in Pittsburgh, PA has been open since 1989 and never fails to amaze its customers. Located on Bedford Square on the south side, Destiny Studios focuses most of its items based on Celtic or British Isles countries and themes. The owner is really interested in ancient cultures, which show up in many of the fine jewelry pieces there. Many of the pieces have ancient German runic script. Many of the jewelry pieces have these runes on them like the key chains, earrings, necklaces or pendants. You'll also find a few books there that describe this form of writing, which to many is divine. Luckily, Destiny Studios is walking distance to a couple of used bookstores. Many of the customers find themselves walking to the bookstores to look up some of the many items they find at Destiny Studios. After researching some of the ancient pieces and understanding them better, visitors can go back to Destiny with more of an idea of what they're looking at and buying.
Most of the jewelry is made by local artists as well as national artists. What many like about Destiny Studio is that it carries many hard to find items such as specific ceramics, prints, jewelry, clothing, statues, books and music. You'll also find some limited edition sculptures. At times you'll feel like you're in another universe and era. There are some Green Man themed mini sculptures that many find interesting. If you're looking for a gift for a hard to buy for person, Destiny Studios may just be the place to shop. You will find some very unique items here. They are open Wednesday through Saturdays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
