The Steel Indian School Park is located at 300 E Indian School Road in Phoenix, Arizona. They are open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. This park measures 75 acres. You can find walking paths that will lead you around the park and bring you right by all of the special features of Steel Indian School Park. These paths are referred to as The Circle of Life. As you stroll along The Circle of Life you will walk past three historic building (Memorial Hall, Band Building and Dining Hall) which used to belong to the Phoenix Indian School. You will be able to see the cistern which is a beautiful fountain that has poems etched into the sides of it that tell the history and explains the design of the Native American park. The park also has an 'Entry Garden' which is beautiful and a great place to relax.
If you are a dog lover, this park also has a dog park that you can bring your furry friend to for socializing and getting some exercise. This dog park is 1.83 acres in size. Your dog will love to run and jump. Your dog will also be safe while you are at the dog park since they placed six foot high fencing all around the area especially made for the dogs.
