The Chiefs vs. the Cardinals should turn out to be a battle of an aging offensive power facing a team that is looking to take over as the new dominant force on offense. The Chiefs still have a strong quarterback in Trent Green, money option in Tony Gonzalez and solid ground game with Larry Johnson, but with a lack of true talent at the receiver position and weakening frontline the Chiefs may have their best days behind them.
As for the Cardinals, who were just a year ago the proverbial inside joke of the NFL, have recently beefed up with additions such as rookie quarterback Matt Leinart and the acquisition of Edgerin James. Add to this dangerous duo the ever improving play of receiver Larry Fitzgerald, and the Chiefs are sure to have a game on their hands. The points should tally up quick during this game, as the Chiefs prove whether or not they can still hang with the young bucks of the NFL.
