Please Touch Museum's Annual Golf Classic in Philadelphia, PA

The Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is a children's museum dedicated to offering kids fun and educational exhibits that are hands-on and interactive. Exhibits at the museum include the Walking Piano from the movie "Big", Alice in Wonderland and River Adventures play areas, a historical carousel from 1908, an exhibit dedicated to Philadelphia transit, and an aircraft exhibit where kids can "fly" model planes from the cockpit. There is an admission fee for both adult and child visitors to the museum, which is located at Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park.

Every year, the Please Touch Museum holds its annual Golf Classic benefit in May. This posh event is one of the museum's primary fundraising events, bringing in upwards of $150,000 each year to support the museum's educational programs for young and undeserved children. At the event, attendees are treated to a multi-course, four-star dinner from a local restaurant, a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, and a meet and greet with museum executives and other patrons. And then there is, of course, the golf. Patrons can choose to enter the 18-hole tournament, or they can try their hand at the putting and hole-in-one contests. A driving range is also open for attendees to use. If you are interested in attending this benefit event, please contact the Please Touch Museum for this spring's details.
