The Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival is already a popular area event despite its relatively new status.
The event features over 100 racing teams as they compete throughout the entire day. Even more noteworthy is that hundreds of thousands of dollars are raised to help the Fox Chase Cancer Center.
Rowers of all skill levels are invited to participate, as long as they register for the events and have adequate practice beforehand.
