Located just five miles south of Park City, you'll have plenty of opportunity to enjoy an array of outdoor recreation at Jordanelle State Park. With an onsite reservoir, you'll be able to swim, boat, fish for perch, bass, and trout, water ski, and windsurf at this park. Jordanelle also features sandy beaches that are ideal for sunbathing. Other popular activities at this park include mountain biking, hiking, picnicking, and cross-country skiing.
Jordanelle has within the park three sites: Rock Cliff Recreation Site, Perimeter Trail, and Hailstone Recreation Site. Rock The Rock Cliff Recreation Site features a Nature Center, group-use pavilions, modern restrooms, and three walk-in campgrounds. Perimeter Trail provides non-motorized access to not only to the Rock Cliff and Hailstone Recreation Sites but also to the Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail State Park. This trail is also frequented by hikers, horse-riders, bikers, and skiers. Hailstone Recreation Site features three campgrounds: Keetly Point, McHenry Creek, and an RV campground. You'll find at these three excellent campgrounds just what you need for an enjoyable time in Utah's outdoors: a visitor center, playground, boat ramps, pavilions, cabanas, laundromats, beach house, restaurant, marina store, fish cleaning station, and outdoor amphitheater.
