The Eating Establishment is located on Main Street in the historic district of Park City. Since it opening in 1972 it has been serving its family-friendly breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The dining experience is relaxed and casual, with its brick interior, open fires and old photographs on the walls. There is also a light and airy indoor patio area with views of Main Street, and the restaurant is know for its generous portions and friendly service.
The restaurant serves breakfast from 8.00am until 11.00am daily and includes a great selection of light omelettes with a variety of filling and served with breakfast potatoes, a short or tall stack of pancakes with fruit, or for a lighter option - yoghurt, fruit and granola. The house specialties for breakfast include the Miner's Dawn, a dish of potatoes, eggs and cheese, upgraded to the Hungry Miner with the addition of onions, ham and peppers.
Lunch served from 11.0am features burgers, sandwiches and salads. Try the Chicago burger with a choice of cheeses, the gourmet burger with added mushrooms, the silver queen salad with feta and black olives, or the China bridge grilled chicken salad. Appetizers on the dinner menu include crab cakes and beer battered shrimp. The restaurant is known for its barbecue ribs smoked over a hardwood fire and served with it signature sauce. Other specialties include the thinly-sliced beef brisket, Alaskan halibut and Monterey surf and turf. The in-house desserts selection feature classics sch as mud pie and New York baked cheesecake.
