Café Terigo is located in historic Main Street and has been serving its own take of Italian and French cuisine for over 20 years. The restaurant, in an attractive brick building with lights in the trees outside, is known for it efficient service and friendly atmosphere. The interior is decorated in muted tones with chandeliers and candelabras providing intimate lighting. There is a dining room, plus two additional areas for private parties, with windows that open out over Main Street.
The menu is influenced by Italian and French recipes and flavors. Appetizers include steamed artichoke with lemon basil oil, parmesan flatbread with oven roasted tomatoes, and goat cheese with rosemary. Salads include the house Terigo salad with grilled chicken, a mix of vegetables with a sweet sesame dressing. Choose from an array of sandwich fillings on foccacia or in a baguette including roast turkey breast, burger with swiss cheese or juicy steak with onions and Dijon mustard.
The pizza selection features gourmet toppings including wild mushroom, caramelized onion and goats cheese - shrimp, artichoke and basil pesto, and the folded calzone with turkey breast, onions and peppers. Pasta dishes include penne pasta with bolognese sauce, chicken lasagna with spinach pasta, and ravioli with a wild mushroom filling.
There is an extensive wine list, available by the glass or the bottle, and a large selection of domestic, specialty and domestic beers, classic cocktails and liquors. The restaurant is open every night for dinner which begins at 5.30pm and for lunch from 11.30am — 2.30pm Monday through Saturday.
