While the name Courtyard Wine & Cheese is quite simple and elegant at the same time, the name really does not fully describe the excellent fare available at this Panama City Beach spot. Located at 66 Main Street, Courtyard Wine & Cheese is in the Gourd Garden Courtyard, where wine tasting is an art and a form of relaxation.
Customers can choose from one of many great wines and from a selection of mouth-watering cheeses. Other visitors enjoy browsing in the temperature/humidity controlled wine store, then moving on to the tasting room or the open-air café.
The Courtyard Wine & Cheese system is about limited production, keeping the focus on quality and consistency. The "boutique" style features truly great wines and cheeses from around the globe. Cheeses can be purchased by the pound, in traditional fashion, or visitors can select from the featured cheeses each day. Courtyard generally features three great cheeses on prepared plates or samplers. If there is time and the cheeses are available, staff members may be able to arrange a custom sampler.
Plans for Courtyard Wine & Cheese include building a reputation as a place for great private parties in the courtyard, as well as for becoming a specialty shop that people think of first when they need the best in wines and cheeses for any occasion.
