It is a causal place where the employees greet the regulars by name and are friendly and helpful on menu selections for the tourists.

This barbecue joint, located just a short distance from Miracle Strip theme park, kicked the competition to the curb during a rib cook-off at some Super Bowl festivities at one point and has even won awards for the best barbecue around, especially from a beach. Indeed, it is a bit incongruous to see Beach BBQ right on the sand but you quickly get over it once you take a bite of food here.

They offer too many barbecue dishes to count from beef ribs to juicy chicken to turkey to pork, each one is equally delicious.  Beach BBQ adds a few seafood dishes to liven things up a bit but everyone knows that their barbecue is simply the right thing to order. Of course you get your choice of sides like coleslaw, potato salad, fries and more. Wash the meal down with a tall glass or two of sweet tea and you are in business until your body needs refueling again.

Beach BBQ is a happening place with some dining room indoors but outside is the place you want to be. You cannot watch the sun set while gnawing on a rib anywhere else in Panama City Beach.
