Every Thursday evening, a large section of Palm Canyon Drive becomes a pedestrian friendly celebration of all things Palm Springs. The street is sealed off to traffic between 6 and 10 p.m. from Armado Road to Baristo. Called Villagefest, this weekly event offers fresh fruit stands, local restaurant samplings, live music, and a plethora of local artists and craftsmen offering their wares.
