The Nightwatch Stargazing Adventure Jeep Tour
Combine the geology associated with the unique and intriguing landscape along the San Andreas Fault with the astronomy of an evening stargazing experience when you embark on the Nightwatch Stargazing Adventure Jeep Tour. Your tour will depart about two and a half hours prior to sunset as you explore the shifting evening lights and the shadows it casts on the twisted, gnarled earth that has been tortured by the power of the tectonic plates along the faultline.
As the sun begins to set, you'll be able to enjoy a spectacular, breathtaking mountain sunset before the stars appear in the evening sky. At that point, your knowledgeable guides will identify constellations, planets, and stars, all while sharing the interesting stories behind their significance.

- Price includes naturalist guided Jeep tour with snacks and bottled water.
- The tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours.
- Comfortable, layered clothing is recommended, and close-toed shoes are required.
- Photography is welcome and encouraged.
- The tour is recommended for ages 4 and up. Children between the ages of 4 and 6, and those who are under 60 pounds must be in an approved child safety seat. Guests must bring their own car seat.
- Each Jeep can carry up to 7 passengers.
- All guides are CPR and First Aid trained, and go through an extensive training program before leading the eco-tours.
- Note About the Departure Time: The tour departure time is approximate, and will depart approximately 2 and a half hours prior to sunset. As such, the departure time will change throughout the seasons as the sunset time changes. After your reservations have been confirmed, you will receive a phone number to call 3 to 5 days prior to your tour to confirm the exact departure time.
