Make your way through some of the most tortured and incredible natural formations with the Faultline Express San Andrea's Fault Jeep Tour near Palm Springs. The land along the San Andreas fault is quite unlike any other in the world, and you'll see for yourself how the landscape has been twisted, streched, bent, and tossed about by the power of the plates that meet at the San Andreas Fault.

You'll see entire mountains that have been shoved up by the forces, creating incredible box and slot canyons, and more, all while you learn about how the power of the earthquakes and how they forge and shape the earth. A professional, knowledgeable naturalist will be your guide for the trip, and will share their knowledge of the fault, geology, flora and fauna with you.

Details

• Price includes naturalist guided Jeep tour with snacks and bottled water.
• The tour lasts approximately 3 hours in June - August and 3.5 September - May.
• Comfortable, layered clothing is recommended, and close-toed shoes are required. We suggest bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat.
• Photography is welcome and encouraged.
• The tour is recommended for ages 4 and up. Children between the ages of 4 and 6, and those who are under 60 pounds must be in an approved child safety seat. Guests must bring their own car seat.
• Each Jeep can carry up to 7 passengers.
• All guides are CPR and First Aid trained, and go through an extensive training program before leading the eco-tours.
• Note About 5 p.m. Tours: The Twilight Tour departure time (5 p.m.) is approximate, and will depart approximately 2.5 hours prior to sunset. After your reservations have been confirmed, you will receive a phone number to call 3 to 5 days prior to your tour to confirm the exact departure time. All other departure times are exact.
