Scarlett's Dinner Theatre offers the best in who-dunnit murder-mystery evenings. The Theatre is set in an elegant Velvet Room above Fat Tuesdays restaurant, and is situated in Ottawa's Bywater Market. Staged by Eddie May, Canada's longest running producer of murder-mystery theater, Scarlett's offers a night of high drama, comedy and fun. Themed murder mystery events take place often with a new take on classic productions such as 'Greased' set in the fabulous Fifties.
Every Friday and Saturday night Scarlett's hosts a dinner and show from 7.00pm onwards. Over cocktails you'll be chatting to your fellow guests but by the time the soup arrives one of them will have met an untimely death. Out of the shadows steps Detective Eddie May, who has solved over 400 murder-mystery cases, and will sift through the evidence, looking round at the guilt faces for clues and grilling his suspects! The shows feature everything from song and dance to seances and mud-wrestling — there's a fast-action finish and a great prize for the guest who solves the crime.
The dinner menu stats at $22.00 for three courses. To start is the chef's soup of the day, followed by a choice of entrees including Atlantic salmon with a creole mustard and brown sugar cream sauce, filet Mignon with a red wine and horseradish sauce, manicotta pasta with spinach and ricotta, and jambalaya with dirty rice. Coffee and fabulous desserts to follow include a bourbon chocolate pecan pie.
Tickets for the shows are $25.00 and the three course dinner menu ranges from $22 to $33.
