The Hellenic Community of Ottawa offers all kinds of events and activities centered around the Greek community and church, but the highlight of the year comes during Greek Fest. This celebration of Greek art, dancing, music, food, and culture is an event not to be missed. During the Greek Fest, you can even learn to cook your favorite Greek recipe, and learn to speak Greek.
If you don't come during Greek Fest, you are still invited to worship at the Greek Orthodox Church there. Matins is at 9:15a.m. Liturgy and Sunday School begin at 10:15a.m. During the summer, the hours change as follows: Matins at 8:45a.m. and Liturgy and Sunday School at 9:45a.m.
