Take a step back in time to the 1926 restored fire station turned museum. Located in
Loch Haven Park amongst other fantastic museums, this restored fire house is home to many interesting artifacts including a 1919 motorized ladder truck, a 1915 motorized fire truck, and a 1911 horse-driven steam engine. Other artifacts on display date back as far as the late 1800's. Soak up some history looking at the old helmets, lanterns, and other fire-fighting tools.
When you first walk through the door, you'll be greeted by real city firemen who will be more than happy to take you on a tour, or you can feel free to take a self-guided tour.
The Orlando Fire Museum is open Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission and parking are free to the public.
