If you're the type that enjoys hiking and the outdoors, then this is your Graceland. Park your car in the large grassy parking lot, and set off on foot through one of the nations most beautiful preserves. Be sure to bring plenty of drinking water with you, as there is none available once you get out on the trails. There is a campsite that the general public is welcome to use, however they must register with the Hal Scott Preserve, first. This land is rich in history, and provides perfect photo opportunties. The sunsets are pink and purple, the grass is tall and green, and there are plenty of fish for the catching.
The land is generally open and flat with trees sprinkled, throughout. Lucky hikers will catch glimpses of wildlife such as deer, turkey, bobcats, and numerous birds, including the rare downy woodpecker.
