Disney's Pacific Citrus Classic at Disney's Wide World of Sports

Disney's Wide World of Sports welcomes the best of fastpitch softball during the annual Disney Pacific Citrus Classic.

One of twin tournaments to qualify for the Amateur Softball Association's Hall of Fame tournament, the West Coast venue in La Bonita Sports Complex in Orange County, California, mirrors Disney's Atlantic Citric Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.

Division champions from each of these tournaments win a berth to the ASA Hall of Fame Tournament, to be played in Oklahoma at the ASA's Hall of Fame Complex.

The collaboration between Disney's Wide World of Sports and the ASA began in 2007, when the softball organization's national council voted to sanction the two qualifying tournaments. Each tournament offers four divisions of girls' fastpitch softball.

Founded in 1933, the ASA sanctions softball competition throughout the nation, with 84 local associations and more than 3 million members. It is the national governing body for the sport in America, and a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee.
