Disneyland Half Marathon at Disney's Wide World of Sports

This 13.1 mile run, affectionately referred to as "The Happiest Race On Earth" is sponsored by the Disneyland Resort and the City of Anaheim. Racers will run along a trail that passes iconic Disneyland landmarks, including Sleeping Beauty's Castle and the Matterhorn. The path then winds around the City of Anaheim before finishing up in the Downtown Disney District. Be sure to high-five your favorite Disney characters who will be positioned along the route. Those who finish the half marathon will receive a commemorative medal. The Disneyland Half Marathon is part of the DisneyLand Half Marathon Weekend which is a two day celebration of health and fitness. The event features activities for the whole family including races for various age groups and a fun run with Disney characters. The celebration begins with the opening of the Disneyland Health and Fitness expo which features the latest in fitness equipment as well as seminars on running, nutrition, fitness and training.
